In the late seventies, Dursun attempts to keep his three sons in the village by marrying them off, in an effort to shield them from the escalating ‘‘right-left’’ conflicts. Harun, the son who resists his father the most and is determined to go to Istanbul, cannot even begin to imagine the events that await his elder brother, Hasan. Hasans marriage is destined to trigger a chain of events that will affect the entire family...
